Beyonce has revealed her secret to calming her performance nerves – making love to Jay-Z.

The 'Love On Top' singer has admitted that she makes love to Jay-Z to calm her nerves, as she prepares to perform at tonight's (February 3) Super Bowl half-time show.

Speaking at an NFL press conference in New Orleans, she said:

When I get nervous or I don’t have everything together I like to make love to my husband.

Following the controversy of her performance of the 'Star Bangled Banner' at Barack Obama's presidential inauguration, Beyonce admits that she is anxious ahead of tonight's performance. "I've been preparing for five months for this moment. I'm happy I'll have my husband there with me – it's every woman’s dream to feel this way about her husband," she added.

Last month (January), it was reported that Beyonce's former Destiny's Child bandmates will join her during the halftime show and recently their setlist was apparently revealed. The reunited trio were supposedly due to play a three-track medley, consisting of 'Bills, Bills, Bills', 'Survivor' and new song 'Nuclear'.

However, the group's Michelle Williams has since dismissed these reports, saying: "That's not confirmed. It is rumoured. I'm gonna be in the musical Fela!. I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."
