Beyonce has unveiled a brand new track on her website – scroll down to listen to it.

The track, titled 'Bow Down'/'I Been On' appeared on the singer's SoundCloud yesterday (March 17) and was produced by Hit-Boy. The song features the line "I took some time to live my life, but don't think I'm just his little wife," which offers an interesting reaction to her naming her upcoming world tour 'The Mrs Carter Show' after her married name.

It is not yet clear whether the track will appear Beyonce's forthcoming new album, which will be the follow-up to 2011's '4'. Speaking recently about the LP, she said: I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us." When asked about the influences on the album, she said: "Mostly R&B. I always have my Prince and rock/soul influences. There's a bit of D'Angelo, some '60s doo-wop. And Aretha and Diana Ross."

Meanwhile, Beyonce's UK and Irish tour sold out 12 minutes after going on sale last month (February 23). Tickets for 'The Mrs Carter Show' tour, which calls at Birmingham, London and Manchester, were snapped up at lightning speed.

Beyonce will play:

Birmingham LG Arena (April 26, 27)
London O2 Arena (29-30, May 1, 3-5)
Manchester Arena (May 7-9)
Dublin The O2 (11, 12)
