The full studio version of new Beyonce song 'Rise Up' has appeared online – scroll down to the bottom of the page to hear it now.

The song is taken from the new animated film Epic, in which Beyonce has a speaking role alongside fellow stars Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Christoph Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler. Beyonce plays the role of Queen Tara in the Twentieth Century Fox film. 'Rise Up' was co-written by Beyonce and Sia, and was produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N Cashe.

Beyonce has unveiled a spate of new songs in 2013, including the track 'Grown Woman', which was premiered via a Pepsi advert show during the half-time show of this year's Super Bowl, and 'Standing On The Sun', which she recently played in full for the first time at a gig in Belgium.

The singer made the headlines earlier last month when a man tapped her on the backside at a gig in Copenhagen. Taking the move in jest, Beyonce said: "I'll have you escorted out for that." The man is not believed to have been asked to leave the show.

However, speaking to NME about the incident, Este from Haim said: "We just heard about how Beyonce did a show and some guy slapped her ass? Who has the balls? I feel like Beyonce has a forcefield around her. What a dick." Her sister Alana later added: "If anyone slapped Este’s ass… dead man walking. Someone said something at our show in Glasgow and I don’t know what they said but the crowd started booing. Este was like, 'What did you say?' And there was no response. So she said, 'That’s what I thought'. And the crowd were like, 'Yeah! Girl power'."
