Jay Z joins Beyonce onstage in New York to play 'Tom Ford'

Jay-Z joined Beyonce onstage at her New York gig last night (August 5) to play his track 'Tom Ford'.

Beyoncé was playing her third and final gig of her Mrs Carter Show world tour at Brooklyn's Barclays Centre – the venue Jay Z part owns. After performing her song 'Bow Down', Jay Z walked onstage to play his 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' track 'Tom Ford' – watch fan-filmed footage of it above.

Earlier on her world tour, Beyoncé soldiered through a concert at Montreal's Bell Centre after her hair became entangled in the blades of a fan. The accident happened while Beyoncé was performing her track 'Halo' – but she continued her encore regardless as security guards attempted to free her.

Recent reports have suggested that fans may have to wait for the follow-up to her 2011 album '4' after she scrapped a bunch of new material. Diplo, who worked with Beyoncé on her hit single 'Run The World (Girls)', revealed that he was approached to work on the new album but that he believes the ideas he contributed were part of a batch of songs which have subsequently been scrapped. "I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried. I think she scrapped the record. The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas."

Beyoncé is due to headline V Festival later this month on August 17 and 18.
