A school in Wales is using the Beyonce song 'Irreplaceable' to remind students to stay "to the left" while walking down busy corridors.

The track, which appears on the US singer's 2006 album 'B'Day' and features the lyrics, "To the left/ To the left/ Everything you own in the box to the left", has been adopted by the Bryngwyn School in Llanelli, west Wales in an attempt to maintain a swift and orderly system for students to employ as they make their way around the school.

"The concept was an innovative and imaginative idea from pupils coming out of a school council meeting," headteacher Paul Jones, who has also sanctioned 'Pass The Dutchie', by Musical Youth, to be played over the PA system to ensure kids stay on the correct side of the corridors between lessons and at lunch times, told Metro. "The purpose was to improve the smooth and effective transition, as pupils and staff travel around school between busy lesson changeovers. It is quite surprising, not only do the pupils enjoy it, but they responded and it does work."

Meanwhile, Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac has said that she is a fan of Beyonce because the singer is "not skanky". Speaking about the 'Single Ladies' singer, Nicks also noted that she is a "good role model".

Nicks enthused: "Beyoncé's great. She's got her alter ego, but Beyoncé the girl, the woman, is very sweet and nice and polite. She's a good role model. She's not skanky. I'm glad we have her."
