Beyoncé and Solange pose together for first time since Jay Z lift incident

Beyoncé and Solange have posed together for the first time since footage appeared online appearing to show Solange attacking her brother-in-law Jay Z in a lift.

The image was posted on
Beyonce's Instagram on Saturday (May 17) and is captioned: "New Orleans May 17th 2014". The altercation, between Solange and her brother-in-law Jay Z, took place at the Standard Hotel in New York at an after-party for the annual Met Gala on May 5.

Last week Jay Z, Beyoncé and Solange released a statement about the incident. Issued on behalf of all three parties, it read "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred". They describe it as an "unfortunate incident".

Meanwhile, a star-studded trailer for Beyoncé and Jay Z's joint US summer tour was revealed this weekend. The three-and-a-half-minute promo for a fictional film entitled Run sees guest appearances from actors Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Jake Gyllenhaal, Blake Lively, Rashida Jones, Emmy Rossum and more, with Jay Z and Beyoncé appearing as a Bonnie and Clyde-style criminal couple.
