Jay Z and Beyoncé have announced the first European dates for their join 'On The Run' tour.

The tour is set to take place in the US this summer and details of its arrival in Europe were announced today (June 13). Two nights at the Stade de France in Paris are the only confirmed dates thus far, with the couple set to perform on September 12 and 13.

The news was confirmed via promoter Live Nation, who tweeted earlier today and said: "@S_C_ & @Beyonce play 2 exclusive shows in Paris this September. Tickets on sale June 19."

The married couple regularly appear during each other's live shows, with Jay Z performing with Beyoncé in London earlier this year when the Mrs Carter Tour arrived at the O2 Arena in February.

The tour will take in 16 US dates through June, July and August and starts in Miami at the Sun Life Stadium on June 25. The tour will then continue through the USA and Canada, stopping at Beyoncé's home town of Houston, Texas on July 18. The final date on the tour will come on August 6 at San Francisco's AT&T Park.

Tickets for the Paris leg of the On The Run tour go on sale at 10am on Thursday June 19.
