Biffy Clyro go swimming during Ibiza Rocks kick-off gig
Biffy Clyro played an electrifying set to kick off the Ibiza Rocks series of gigs this evening (June 8), diving triumphantly into a nearby swimming pool at the end of their set.

The band played a 14-song set at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, supported by Bombay Bicycle Club.

After final song 'The Captain', the band all stripped off to the waist, before leaving the stage to dive into the pool for a post-gig swim, much to the enjoyment of the 2,000-strong Ibiza audience looking on.

Despite the crowd being mainly made up of English tourists, the group decided to thank fans in Spanish throughout their set, which included tracks such as 'Mountain' and 'Shock, Shock'.

Frontman Simon Neil ended 'That Golden Rule' on his knees, before launching into a pulsating version of 'Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies'. The band, who had earlier taken advantage of Ibiza's San Antonio beach, went on to play a greatest hits set, featuring tracks spanning their entire career including 'Bubbles' and 'Many Of Horror'.

Earlier in the evening, Bombay Bicycle Club were joined by an array of Playboy bunnies during their gig as they opened the Ibiza Rocks series of gigs.

The band played a 10-song set comprising mainly of material from their debut album 'I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose'. Upon playing fan favourite 'Always Like This', the London four-piece were joined by eight Playboy bunnies onstage to dance along with the track, much to the Ibiza crowd's enjoyment.
