Biffy Clyro stormed the Isle Of Wight Festival this evening (June 12) – managing to draw a big crowd despite competition from the World Cup.

The Scots were on at the same time as England kicked off against the USA but, despite the match being screened on site, the band managed to keep the festival's eyes on the stage.

With all three band members performing topless, Biffy Clyro injected a healthy dose of rock into the 2010 festival, performing the likes of ’Moutains’, ’Bubbles’ and set closer ’The Captain’.

They were followed by Blondie, with the New Yorkers playing a hit-filled set ahead of The Strokes, who are headlining tonight.

Watched by Kate Moss and The KillsJamie Hince from the side of the stage, the veterans had the crowd singing along loudly to the likes of ’Hanging On The Telephone’, ’Atomic’ and ’Heart Of Glass’.
