Biffy Clyro beat Muse to Shockwaves NME Awards Live honour
Kasabian and Arcade Fire had also been nominated
Biffy Clyro have been crowned Best Live Band at tonight's (February 21) Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony.
The trophy was presented to the band by Juliette Lewis and Miles Kane. Singer Simon Neil then thanked everyone who has supported the group.
Arctic Monkeys won the award in 2010, but in recent years some bands had joked that the award should be called the "Muse award" because they'd won it three times before.
Muse were nominated, as were Arcade Fire, Foals and Kasabian, but it was the Scottish trio who won the vote of NME.COM users.
