BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

Raekwon and Nas link up with the rapper a year after his death...

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

RAEKWON, NOREAGA and NAS are amongst the artists set to appear on a forthcoming album, 'ENDANGERED SPECIES', by the late rapper BIG PUNISHER, due for release early in 2001.

The posthumous collection is slated to appear through Loud Records in the US on February 6, almost exactly a year after Big Pun's February 7 death from a suspected heart attack. No UK date has been finalised.

According to www.billboard.com, tracklisting for the record is still being worked through, although fans can expect material from his previous two studio albums - 'I'm Not A Player' and 'Still Not A Player' - studio collaborations with other artists, and unreleased songs.

In the year leading up to his death, the rapper, who weighed some 50 stones, starred in two films, 'Urban Menace' and 'Thicker Than Water', which also featured fellow rappers Ice Cube, Fat Joe, and Mack 10.
