Billy Bragg gets reissued
There’s a box set of goodies on the way
Billy Bragg is set to reissue his earliest albums in a box set.
‘Billy Bragg Volume 1’ will feature his first four albums (1983’s‘Life’s a Riot with Spy Vs
Spy’, 1984’s ‘Brewing Up with Billy Bragg’, 1986’s ‘Talking with the Taxman About Poetry’ and 1990’s ‘The Internationale’) in a seven-CD, two-DVD format.
The extra material will include ‘From the West Down to the East’, a DVD of the 1985 ’South Bank Show’ profile of Bragg plus a film of his August 1986 concert in East Berlin.
The set is due to be released on March 4.
All four individual albums will also be able for purchase individually.
