Billy Talent have revealed that their new studio album will be titled 'Dead Silence'.

The album is the Canadian band's fourth effort as Billy Talent and their fifth effort of their career to date. It will be released on September 7 and has been produced by the band's guitarist Ian D'Sa.

'Dead Silence' is the band's first album not to be self-titled, after they simply titled their previous efforts 'Billy Talent', 'Billy Talent II' and 'Billy Talent III'. They released their 1999 debut album 'Watoosh!' under the band name Pezz

The album's lead-off single 'Viking Death March' was made available last month and you can hear it by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

Billy Talent will preview their new material with a show at London's XOYO on August 16. They then play the NME/Radio 1 Stage at this summer's Reading And Leeds Festivals. They also recently performed at June's Download Festival.
