The Scottish indie band announce mini reunion

Bis are back

Defunct Scottish trio Bis have announced plans to play two reunion gigs next year to celebrate the 10th anniverary of their debut.

The band have lined up a show at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in their hometown Glasgow on April 6 and they will be playing a London date the next day in a venue which is still to be confirmed to mark the release of 'Transistor Heroes'.

Singer Manda Rin confirmed the news on the forum of her other band data Panik, who split last year.

Bis formed in 1994 and made an appearance on Top Of The Pops with the track 'Kandy Pop' while still unsigned, as well as making the cover of NME.

They released three albums before they eventually split in 2003 with a final gig at King Tuts[b].

Last year they announced plans to form [b]data Panik
but split after releasing two seven-inch singles.
