Singer lays down a track for the children's movie
Bjork has penned a song for a new film based on the 1980s children's TV series 'The Moomins'.
The Icelandic singer has written the song 'The Comet Song' with author and frequent collaborator Sjón for the movie 'Moomins And The Comet Chase'.
Bjork is a big Moomin fan and has often been seen wearing the characters' depictions on T-shirts and neckties, according to her official site Bjork.com.
The hippopotamus-resembling fictional creatures were invented by Finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson and became a huge hit on children's TV in UK in the 1980s.
The Finnish children's movie company Filmkompaniet is making the new film which is due out next summer.
