Bjork pens song for short film dedicated to Alexander McQueen

Icelandic singer soundtracks clip featuring kaleidoscopic visions

Bjork has written a new song for a short film dedicated to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen.

The Icelandic singer has contributed the music to To Lee, With Love, Nick, which has been put together by director/photographer Nick Knight. Head to Showstudio.com to watch the video.

The film turns McQueen's designs into warped, kaleidoscopic visions and Bjork's piece, which runs at just over three minutes, provides the backing music to the clip.

The London-born fashion designer worked with a number of high-profile musicians throughout his career. The cover of Bjork's 1997 album 'Homogenic' was designed by him, as was the Union Jack coat sported by David Bowie on the cover of 'Earthling', released the same year.

More recently Lady Gaga's video for 'Bad Romance' featured the singer wearing a number of his designs.
