Bjork has revealed details of a 'Biophilia' boxset, with a price tag of £500.

For that money, fans might expect the inclusion of an actual iPad to watch the myriad of content that ties in with the release, described as the world's "first app album".

The singers website gives details of the collector's item that will include a lacquered and silkscreened oak-hinged lid case containing the 'Biophilia' manual, along with 10 chrome-plated tuning forks, silkscreened on one face in 10 different colours, stamped at the back, and presented in a flocked tray.

The manual will be 48 pages hardbound, cloth-covered and thread-sewn, and the package contains two audio CDs including the main album and additional exclusive recordings.

Earlier this week, Bjork described the 'Biophilia' live shows as “a work in progress”.

The boxset will be made to order, and orders must be placed before August 12. It will be released on September 26.

Head on over to to see the enviable package.
