The Icelandic star has been nominated for her song 'I've Seen It All' from the film 'Dancer In The Dark'...

BJORK is up for an OSCAR for Best Song at next month's ACADEMY AWARDS, according to US reports.

Bjork, who was tipped to be nominated for her role as actress in the film 'Dancer In The Dark' was instead just nominated for 'I've Seen It All' from the film's soundtrack, which she wrote along with the film's director Lars Von Trier.

Other artists battling it out for one of the fabled gold statuettes at the awards, to be held in Los Angeles on March 25, include Sting and Bob Dylan.

According to www.billboard.com, Sting and David Hartley are up for a gong for 'My Funny Friend And Me' from the animated Disney film 'The Emperor's New Groove', while Dylan was nominated for 'Things Have Changed', from the soundtrack to the Michael Douglas movie 'Wonder Boys'.
