JARVIS COCKER and Pulp colleague STEVE MACKEY have remixed a track on the new BLACK BOX RECORDER single, 'The Art Of Driving', due for release through Nude on July 3.
Working as Chocolate Layers, the duo have reworked BBR's previous top 20 single 'The Facts Of Life'. The Pulp version crops up on all three formats of the single.
Black Box Recorder have also included their cover of David Bowie's 'Rock 'N' Roll Suicide' on CD one of 'The Art Of Driving'. The track, which the trio claim to be "the best song ever written", was recorded last month for BBC Radio One's Evening Session and is a constant feature of their live set.
Black Box Recorder will play at the Glastonbury (June 23) and Reading (August 26) andLeeds (August 27) Carling Weekend festivals this year.
