Black Box Recorder, the band formed by Auteurs frontman Luke Haines and John Moore, ex of the Jesus & Mary Chain and Expressway with vocalist Sarah Nixey, play a three date residency at London Highbury Upstairs at the Garage on February 24, March 24 and April 21.
BBR have gigged infrequently since releasing their debut album 'England Made Me' last year; Haines has returned to the studio to complete work on the new Auteurs album, slated for release in April or May.
A spokesman for The Auteurs - who is also Suede's press officer - told nme.com: "They've got a title. All I can tell you is that it begins with an 'H'."
They have also completed a lot of the work on the second BBR album, though no release date has been set.
They will debut two new songs at the shows - which are billed as The National Disgrace - which are 'The Art Of Driving' and 'May Queen'. There will be various other support acts including a Punch & Judy show.
Fans who attend the first two Garage shows will get a badge; if you wear the badge to the third show, you get a mystery free gift.
