Black Eyed Peas, Metric added to Bumbershoot line-up
Seattle festival keeps growing
Black Eyed Peas, Metric and Soulsavers featuring Mark Lanegan have been added to the bill for the 2009 Bumbershoot Festival.
They'll join previously announced headliners including Modest Mouse, Katy Perry, De La Soul and Sheryl Crow and other newly added acts such as Kasabian at the 39th annual music and arts festival, set to take place in Seattle, Washington over Labor Day Weekend (September 5-7).
Also on the bill are Michael Franti & Spearhead, Matt And Kim, Holy F**k, Low vs Diamond, Iglu & Hartly, No Age and Gang Gang Dance.
The festival will be held at the 74-acre Seattle Center beneath Space Needle at 20 indoor and outdoor venues. It will also include visual arts exhibits from DJ Spooky as well as the Seattle-Moscow Poster Show, and a Kids Pavilion for the younger attendees.
