Black Kids, Dizzee Rascal for MTV Liverpool Music Week
Over 250 bands set to play across the city this winter
The organisers of the forthcoming MTV Liverpool Music Week have announced details of the first shows taking place as part of this year's event.
Goldfrapp will play at the city's Mountford Hall on October 31, Black Kids and Ladyhawke play Nation on November 1 and Dizzee Rascal plays the same venue the next day (November 2).
Vampire Weekend's previously-announced tour date at the Liverpool Carling Academy on October 30 has been incorporated into the event.
MTV Liverpool Music Week runs ahead of MTV's European Music Awards, which take place in the city on November 6, and will see over 250 acts playing across 16 venues in Liverpool.
