The rock legends light up the annual Weenie Roast...

BLACK ARE BACK

Ozzy Osbourne and the original members of Black Sabbath reunited on stage at the weekend (June 17) at Los Angeles radio station KROQ's eighth annual WEENIE ROAST.

After performing several songs including 'Crazy Train' with a set band, Ozzy said: "I'm going to do something special", and then brought out the original Sabbath line up of Tony Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass and Bill Ward on drums.

A siren started blaring over the loudspeakers, but technical difficulties sidelined the group from kicking off their two-song set straight away. Ozzy seemed to enjoy being on stage with his old band and asked the crowd to join in saying, "You gotta promise me you'll go crazier than you've ever been in your whole life," before they played 'Paranoid'.

Also on the Weenie Roast bill were The Offspring, whose frontman Dexter Holland came out dressed in a Napster T-shirt. Dennis Rodman was invited onstage to help the band out with 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)' but appeared to Be unwilling to co-operate. "If you don't say the goddamn line right now, I'm gonna kick you offstage," a frustrated Holland said, then carried on as normal.

One of the many celebrities at the sold-out show, was Travis Barker of Blink 182, who told nme.com he has left the Blink tour to rest his hand, which was recently broken in a scuffle, at home. The injury is not expected to be healed for three more weeks.

For the full report of the show which featured No Doubt, Limp Bizkit, Korn Moby, and more check nme.com later today.
