SABBATH ANNOUNCE A BRUM DO Black Sabbath Tickets
The band are set to play a small venue in their hometown of Birmingham...
BLACK SABBATH are to play a low-key warm-up for OZZFEST at the BIRMINGHAM ACADEMY, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.
The band will play a hometown show on May 22 at the 2,700-capacity music venue. The gig is the band's smallest in Birmingham in a number of years. Last time Sabbath appeared in the city in 1999, they performed two nights at the nearby NEC arena.
The date is in aid of the local homeless charity St Basils. Birmingham Academy are also donating the venue for free.
Tickets, priced £25, are on sale now, and are only available by either contacting the venue box office on 0121 262 3000, local outlets or the box office at the Wolverhampton Little Civic Hall.
The date precedes the band's headline appearance at Ozzfest at the Milton Keynes Bowl on May 26.
