Tracks by Black Sabbath, The Streets and ELO all feature on an album playlist created by the Birmingham tourist board, celebrating the West Midlands' musical output.

The 21-song-tracklisting was compiled earlier this month from public suggestions via Twitter, filtered by an industry panel that featured local musicians Laura Mvula, Horace Panter of The Specials and Phil Etheridge from The Twang. The album, entitled 'B-side' can be heard at visitbirmingham.com/bside.

Scroll down to read the full tracklisting, which features 'War Pigs' by Black Sabbath, 'Turn The Page' by The Streets, 'Mr Blue Sky' by ELO, 'The Day We Caught The Train' by Ocean Colour Scene and 'Gangsters' by The Specials.

The panel was chaired by BBC 6Music presenter Matt Everitt. "The remit wasn't just to pay lip service to the obvious names, nor champion the unsung or promote the next generation – but to create a playlist of amazing music regardless of age or genre. A collection of songs that you'd love to listen to regardless of its geographical birthplace," he said.
