Jet carrying Blink-182's Travis Barker may have suffered tyre blowout

Crew made attempts to abort take-off, say officials

Experts studying the jet crash that left former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ Adam Goldstein seriously injured and killed four others have said it may have been caused by a tyre blowout.

A safety official investigating the crash said that a cockpit voice recording indicated that the crew had tried unsuccessfully to abort take-off, reports BBC News.

The Learjet crashed into a nearby road shortly after leaving the runway in Columbia, South Carolina, on Friday night (September 19).

Both Barker and Goldstein remain in hospital, having suffered second and third-degree burns from the crash.

hdtp1362eb, perhaps rather than slagging off the music and fashion, you should be considering that fact that four people lost their lives in this disaster, and only by pure luck these two made it, and not without injuries.
