Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA, nine days after he escaped the wreckage of a burning plane.
Barker was a passenger on a Learjet 60 that crashed during take-off from a South Carolina airport just after midnight on September 20.
As previously reported, fellow survivor, DJ Adam Goldstein, was released on Friday (September 26) after being treated for burns to his head and arms, while Barker received treatment for burns to his torso and lower body.
According to spokesperson Beth Frits, Barker "left the hospital in good condition" and he is en route home to Los Angeles, reports usmagazine.com. It was originally thought he would spend a further two weeks in the hospital.
The two crew in the plane - pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, and co-pilot James Bland, 52, - died within minutes of the crash from smoke inhalation and burns, while Chris Baker, 29, and Charles Still, 25, died from the impact of the crash.
