Victim's wife seeks damages from dead pilots' estates in Barker-DJ AM plane crash

Chris Baker's wife is also suing aviation companies

The wife of Travis Barker's assistant has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles seeking damages from the estates of the two pilots who died in the crash, as well as several aviation companies.

Otilia Villar Baker lost her husband Chris Baker in the crash that killed four people in September.

Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein suffered severe burns after escaping the burning wreckage of the plane.

The suit in Los Angeles Superior Court alleges negligence and wrongful death, reports the Associated Press, and says the aviation companies are partly to blame for the September 19 crash.

The suit seeks damages from the estates of the two pilots, Sarah Lemmon, 31, and James Bland, 52, who also died in the crash.

Baker is seeking damages for pain and anguish her husband suffered before his death, as well as loss of earnings and more.

Travis Barker also sued the aviation companies last month.

Seeking damages from the estates of the two dead pilots, seems really harsh!! Sure sue the aviation companies, but have abit of respect for the pilots family too.
