Blink-182 have told NME that they intend to start recording a new album when they finish their latest run of dates.

The band, who reunited after drummer Travis Barker survived a plane crash in the US in 2008, headlined the Reading And Leeds Festivals this weekend (August 27-29), and revealed their plans in a backstage video interview you can watch on the right now.

"We are going to record an album when we get off this tour, that's the future of Blink-182, and continue to tour and continue to push ourselves as a band," Mark Hoppus explained.

"We're all in a better place now, we really enjoy being in Blink-182, it's not a job or a commitment. When we started it we were doing it because it's something we love and that's what it feels like again."
