Blink-182 have said that their sixth studio album will be titled 'Neighborhoods' and will be released on September 27 in the US.

Speaking in a chat with fans on Google+, frontman Mark Hoppus responded to a question about the new album by naming it and giving a release date.

Hoppus wrote: "The new Blink-182 album will be titled 'Neighborhoods' and is tentatively scheduled for release on September 27."

The band had earlier posted their new single 'Up All Night' online, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to hear it.

The album is the California trio's first since 2003 and is the result of a lengthy recording process which saw the band postpone their UK arena tour and festival appearances by a full year to complete work on the LP. Blink-182 have not yet confirmed whether the album will be released in the same week in the UK or what the album's tracklisting will be.
