Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has promised that "the best is yet to come" from the pop-punkers.

The trio released their comeback album 'Neighborhoods' in September 2011, their first LP in seven years, and Barker has said that he feels like that album represented the band "barely getting back into the rhythm".

Speaking to Rhythm, the drummer said of the band's future plans: "We had seven years off and the last album I think was us barely getting back into the rhythm, recording an album because it was expected of us and we'd gotten back together and everyone wanted to hear new music."

He continued: "I feel like the best is yet to come, the next album is going to be exciting. For the most part the last album was recorded in different studios, we weren't always in the same room. We made it happen and it was the best it could be at the time with us three. I think in the future it can be crazy."

Blink-182 have just completed their UK summer tour, which they finished in late July with a pair of intimate shows at London's O2 Academy Brixton and Manchester's O2 Apollo.

They will tour Australia early next year as part of the Soundwave Festival. You can watch a video of the band's 10 best songs at the bottom of the page.
