Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has revealed that he is working with Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland and British artist Scroobius Pip.

A picture posted on Instagram earlier this week by Barker shows the drummer in the studio with Borland, Scroobius Pip and former Nine Inch Nails member Danny Lohner. It is captioned by Barker writing: "In the lab creating with these talented gentlemen."

Barker has started numerous other projects away from Blink-182, most notably with Rancid's Tim Armstrong as The Transplants. Additionally, Barker has formed bands including +44 as well as Box Car Racer with Tom DeLonge. He also released solo album 'Give The Drummer Some' in 2011.

Blink-182 plan to have released their new album in time for headlining next year's Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The news that the US pop-punk trio are the first headline act confirmed for the 2014 event was announced in November. They are joined by Metronomy, Disclosure and Jake Bugg on the bill for the festival, which will take place in August.

The punk-pop band released their most recent album and their sixth studio LP, 'Neighborhoods', in 2009. Speaking earlier this year, Hoppus said that the trio are hoping to head into the studio at the start of next year (2014) and have the record out not long after.

Blink-182's latest release was the 'Dogs Eating Dogs' EP in December 2012. The band split from their label Interscope in 2011.
