Blink-182's Mark Hoppus has revealed details of a new side project called Nothing And Nobody.

The singer and bassist announced the news on Twitter, revealing that there would be an album to follow in the "not too distant future".

"While Travis [Barker] and I have waited for Blink-182 to get back into the studio this past year, I started working on a project with my friend Chris, who has worked on Grammy award-winning albums, and been my collaborator and confidant for many years," he wrote. "At this point we have nearly 25 songs in various stages of completion."

He then posted a link to a remix the pair have worked on together, which you can listen to below.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Hoppus' Blink-182 bandmate Travis Barker is working on a new Run The Jewels album, along with Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha.

Blink-182 recently teased that they are working on a new album, with Hoppus posting a screenshot of a new song being demoed.

The band had previously revealed their plan to release a new album in time for headlining Reading and Leeds Festivals alongside Arctic Monkeys this summer.
