Fans of Blink-182 have reacted with a mixture of confusion and sadness at the news that singer and guitarist Tom DeLonge does not appear to be a member of the band any more.

"News broke overnight that Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker of the band have split from the "disrespectful and ungrateful" DeLonge after the singer refused to enter the studio and record a new album with them this month.

This came after the band released a statement saying the co-frontman of the pop punk trio had apparently left the band 'indefinitely'. However, DeLonge later took to Instagram to deny the reports.

One thing is for sure, DeLonge will be replaced by Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio at Blink-182's next booked show at the Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival on March 22 in Orange County, California.

Trying to make sense of the situation, this is how fans reacted online.
