Bloc Party cancel US tour
Matt Tong's condition forces the band to axe remaining dates
The move comes after doctors advised the sticksman not to travel or play in order to give his lung time to heal.
Frontman Kele Okereke said, "We would like to apologise to all of our fans here who won't be able to see us on this tour. We were looking forward to playing in a number of American cities that we've never been to before, however, Matt's health is our number one priority right now."
Ticket refunds will be available at point-of-purchase and all ticket holders are advised to return their tickets within the next week.
