Live Earth concert in Turkey announced
Istanbul to join eight other cities
A Live Earth concert in Istanbul has been announced.
It will take place on July 7, and join the other gigs taking place around the world in London, New York, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Johannesburg, Rio De Janeiro and Hamburg.
Although a line-up has not been announced, a statement announced the concert would feature: “Both international and local Turkish acts”.
The UK leg will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium and feature performances from Madonna, Bloc Party,Foo Fighters, Razorlight, Keane and Snow Patrol among others.
