Bloc Party cancel Newport gig due to 'medical procedure'
Guitarist Russell Lissack's treatment can't wait 'til end of tour

Bloc Party have cancelled their gig in Newport tomorrow night (October 16).
The band were due to play the town's Newport Centre, but have had to pull out because Russell Lissack needs to undergo a medical procedure.
According to a spokesperson for the band, the guitarist's condition "while not being serious, cannot be delayed until the end of the tour".
The band are unable to reschedule the show and refunds are are available from point of purchase.
Bloc Party apologised for the cancellation and said they "hope to be able to be back in Newport soon".
