Bloc Party's Kele Okereke has been voted 2012's sexiest man in indie rock.

The frontman topped the Nerve poll, coming ahead of Yeasayer's Anand Wilder, who was in second place, and Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos, who was third.

The Top 10 also includes Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem - pictured right - Michael Kiwanuka and Ty Segall.

The list follows a similar poll released by Nerve earlier this week, which named St Vincent's Annie Clark as the sexiest woman in indie rock.

Bloc Party release their new album 'Four' on August 20. It has been produced by Death Cab For Cutie and The Mars Volta knob twiddler Alex Newport.

Bloc Party tour the UK in October, playing a total of eight shows. The dates kick off at Newcastle's O2 Academy on October 12 and run until October 20, when the band headline Cambridge Corn Exchange. The run also includes gigs in Leeds, Glasgow, Southampton, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester.
