Bloc Party to play free intimate London show tomorrow night

Band will celebrate the release of new album 'Four', which is currently Number One in the midweek charts

Bloc Party have announced that they will play an intimate free show in London tomorrow night (August 22).

The band, who released their long-awaited comback album 'Four' yesterday, are currently Number One in the midweek charts.

"We just found out we are Number 1 on the midweek chart," they wrote on Twitter. "We want to celebrate! Anyone up for a gig in London tomorrow night? #GetFourToOne"

The band will play the 250-person capacity venue Birthdays in London's Dalston tomorrow night. Entrance will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and doors will open at 7.30pm. The band will take the stage at 8.30pm.

Tickets for Bloc Party's huge one-off UK show in February went on sale last week (Friday 17). They will play London's 19,000-capacity Earls Court on February 22, the biggest UK show of their career so far. It will be followed by a full UK tour in October.

Bloc Party have unveiled two tracks from 'Four' so far. You can hear the tracks, which are titled 'Day Four' and 'Octopus' below.
