BLUE MONDAY!

It seems the band's recent bad publicity won't halt the success of 'If You Come Back'...

BLUE MONDAY!

BLUE are currently on course to end WESTLIFE's reign at the top of the UK singles chart, NME.COM has learned.

Their new single 'If You Come Back' is currently the highest new entry at Number One, and yesterday (November 12), outsold Westlife's 'Queen Of My Heart' by approximately 3,500 copies, according to a chart expert at the Virgin Megastore in London.

She commented: "Blue are doing well, and they have made a good enough start to the week to be a good bet to hang on to Number One this Sunday."

Other high midweek new entries come from Destiny's Child, whose single 'Emotion' is at Number Four, the Lighthouse Family's 'Free' at Number Six and Bubba Sparxx' 'Ugly' at Number Eight.

For the final chart placings, visit NME.COM again this Sunday at 7pm.
