Blur and Morrissey have been named as the headliners of Mexico's Vive Latino festival in 2013.

The former Smiths singer and Britpop band will both play the event, which takes place from March 14 – 17 at Forol Sol in Mexico City next year. Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Underworld have also been confirmed to perform at the bash.

Morrissey will headline the festival's opening night on March 14, according to Billboard, with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Underworld to top the bill on March 15. Blur will headline on March 16, before The Cadillacs close the festival on March 16.

Other names on the line-up, which includes over 100 bands, include Tame Impala, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeroes, Japandroids and Silversun Pickups. For a full list of bands playing the festival, visit the official site Vivelatino.com.

Vive Latino is just one of a number of festival dates Blur have confirmed for 2013, with the band also set to perform at next year's twin Primavera festivals in Barcelona, Spain (May 24) and Porto, Portugal (May 31), before going on to play Belgium's Rock Werchter event next July.

Earlier today, meanwhile, it was confirmed that Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon will support Noel Gallagher when he headlines a Teenage Cancer Trust concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 23 next year.
