Blur's Dave Rowntree has remixed a song by new folk band The Cadbury Sisters.

Sharing confectionery brand related names - The Cadbury Sisters are actually descendents of William Cadbury, who founded the chocolate company - the musicians have come together on a new version of the song 'Milk'. The original version of the track features on The Cadbury Sisters' debut EP 'Close', which is released through Fear Of Fiction on June 16. The remixes are the first Dave Rowntree has done that weren't for his own band, Blur. Rowntree has made a long, short and instrumental version, which you can listen to below.

Meanwhile, Rowntree recently admitted that people still apologise to him when they mention Oasis in front of him. On his radio show on XFM earlier this year, the drummer played Oasis' 'Stop Crying Your Heart' and introduces the track by saying that people still think he's "bitter" about the two bands' Britpop rivalry.

The Soulful Wisdom Of Damon Albarn - In 25 Quotes

"When people around me inadvertently mention something to do with Oasis, or to do with something to do with Oasis, they generally turn to me and apologise. So if they say: "I remember when I bought 'Roll With It'", they go, 'Sorry Dave!' Or they say, 'I think the new Beady Eye single's quite good… Sorry Dave!'. So clearly people think that I'm still bitter about the battle of Britpop."
