Alex James to perform solo gig
The Blur man is stepping out on his own
Blur’s Alex James is set to play a rare solo gig.
The bassist will appear at the Whitechapel Gallery on March 31 as part of their annual fundraiser event Art Plus Music.
James will perform a harmonic score accompanied by space-age visuals, after which he’ll be joined by Betty Boo for a rendition of the pair’s new single ‘Wigwam’.
The event will raise funds for the Whitechapel Gallery's education programme, go to Whitechapel.org for tickets and more information.
