Blur bassist Alex James, who recently revealed to NME.COM that his band are set for a full reformation with formerly-departed guitarist Graham Coxon, is to judge a new unsigned bands competition.
James, along with TV presenters Alex Zane and Jo Wiley, will judge the Mobile Act Unsigned competition, which will see 50 bands battling it out to win a record contract.
The 50 bands have embarked on a series of showcases which James and his judging colleagues will judge, before finally announcing a winner.
The auditioning process and beyond will be broadcast on Channel 4 from early October.
