Damon Albarn has admitted nerves nearly got the better of him and Graham Coxon before they took to the stage at last night's (February 25) Shockwaves NME Awards to perform a stripped-down version of 'This Is A Low'.

Speaking after the performance in an exclusive video which you can watch by scrolling down now, Albarn revealed that the duo had been "Very nervous, very nervous. But it was great - it was really fantastic!"

The performance of the song was the Blur duo's first appearance onstage together in nearly a decade. It sparked frenzy among the audience at the ceremony, with bands and fans scrambling to see their heroes' comeback.

In the video interview, Albarn and Coxon also gave an update on how Blur's rehearsals for their forthcoming comeback gigs this summer are going.

"We're taking it really easy, to be honest with you," said Albarn. "Just doing it once a week and enjoying it - playing every album, every song."
