Blur to release live Hyde Park recordings

Band's London gigs to be made available as albums after the show

Blur have announced that they will release live recordings of their shows at London's Hyde Park this week.

Fans will be able to purchase limited edition CDs and downloads of their performances over the two nights (July 2 and 3) from Blur.co.uk.

The recordings cost £15 for each gig on CD (or £10 as downloads), or £28 for both shows.

The double live CDs will be accompanied by photos taken from the two nights and will be posted shortly after the show once they have been mixed and mastered.

Head to Blur.co.uk for details.

As previously reported, Blur headlined the 2009 Glastonbury festival at the weekend (June 28).

britpop gave its name to them, they (like most other bands of the time) didnt lend their name to the genre. so less of using it as a insulting term. i was there on the thurs, and it blew my mind as i havnt seen them for the best part of a decade and as they have no new material, un sure of when will tour again. its great to hear something live knowing you were pogoing along in the crowd some where! im sure there not on the verge of buying no thrills tesco style, you lot sound pretty silly.
