Bob Dylan is set to host his own show on American satellite radio.
The troubadour, who admitted in his book 'Chronicles' that listening to out-of-town stations on a transistor set as a child gave him his own love of music, will host his own show on the XM network.
Announcing the show on Xmradio.com, the station explained Dylan’s show would be: “Without any boundaries or playlists, Bob's show will cross genres and offer a peek into the musical soul of one of the most important songwriters and artists of the 20th Century.”
The singer songwriter himself added in a statement: “Songs and music have always inspired me, a lot of my own songs have been played on the radio, but this is the first time I've ever been on the other side of the mic. It'll be as exciting for me as it is for XM."
Dylan’s show is due to start broadcasting in March.
