Bob Dylan songs to feature in Broadway musical
It's in a circus tent
The songs of Bob Dylan are to feature in a new Broadway musical named after his classic ‘The Times They Are A-Changin'’.
The musical, starring Michael Arden, Thom Sesma and Caren Lyn Manuel, tells the story of a young man's relationships with his demanding father and a beautiful circus performer.
The BBC reports that the show, to be held in a circus tent, will be choreographed by Twyla Tharp, who adapted Billy Joel's hits for the production ‘Movin' Out’.
As well as the title track, other Dylan songs featured include ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’, ‘Mr Tambourine Man’ and ‘Blowin' in the Wind’.
Dylan is currently on a world tour, and releases new album ‘Modern Times’ in August. It’s the follow-up to 2001’s ‘Love And Theft’.
