Dylan launches 'Theme Time's' second season

Bob Dylan has announced that he'll kick off the second season of his acclaimed radio programme on September 19.

The legendary songwriter will be joined by an array of "special guests" including The White Stripes' Jack White on 'Theme Time Radio Hour'.

The award-winning show is scheduled to air each Wednesday on American satellite radio station XM. It is known for showcasing Dylan's eclectic musical tastes ranging from Tom Waits to Stravinsky.

Dylan also conducts live interviews on the programme.

Also slated to appear as guests on the show this season are actors Luke Wilson, John Cusack and Ellen Barkin.
