Bob Dylan appears to have parted ways with guitarist Duke Robillard.

The blues musician joined Dylan's touring band three months ago, but wasn't onstage during their performance in Memphis, Tennessee on Tuesday (July 2) evening. There has been no official announcement from the Dylan camp, and when asked by Rolling Stone, his spokesperson declined to comment.

Charlie Sexton, the guitarist Robillard replaced in April, was back in the group for the performance at the AutoZone Park. It's unclear why Robillard is off the tour, or if he will rejoin at a later date, but late last month he posted a message on Facebook saying: "For sale: Bob Dylan CD and record collection, slightly used."

He later wrote: "I will be selling a lot of guitars and amps soon. I'll keep you posted." His last show on the tour was on June 30 in Nashville. Sexton, meanwhile, played with Bob Dylan from 1999 to 2002, and then again from 2009 to 2012. He appears on Dylan's 2001 album 'Love And Theft', the soundtrack to 2003 film Masked And Anonymous and 2012 album 'Tempest'. Robillard only played at 27 Dylan shows.
